Two men from Stoke have been jailed for drug dealing in Crewe.

31-year-old Tahir Darr and 37-year-old Saeed Malik both pleaded guilty to two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and one count of possession of criminal property.

The court heard how the men were part of a county line drugs gang who were selling crack cocaine and heroin.

Darr was sentenced to 2,045 days in prison whilst Malik was sentenced to 28 months.

Following the sentencing, a detective from Cheshire Police said, “I welcome the sentences handed to Darr and Malik and I hope that they act as a warning to those involved in the sale of illegal drugs.

“In this case it was clear Darr and Malik were both high-level dealers involved in the supply of illegal drugs across the Crewe area.

“We were able to provide a catalogue of evidence against both men, leaving them with no option but to plead guilty to the charges against them."
