Man left with broken leg after Stoke-on-Trent hit-and-run

Officers are appealing for information after a man sustained a broken leg in a non-stop collision in Smallthorne, Stoke-on-Trent.

Police were called at around 10.10pm on Saturday (4 December) to Hanley Road following reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian.

Witnesses reported the driver of the car drove off following the collision and was seen heading towards the Smallthorne roundabout.

It is believed a small dark coloured car was involved in the incident.

The victim, a man in his 20s, sustained a broken leg and was taken to hospital by the ambulance service.

Anyone with information, dashcam or CCTV footage of the area at the time, is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on Facebook, Twitter, or call 101, quoting incident number 654 of 4 December.
