A man's been left with serious injuries after a hit and run crash in Runcorn yesterday (June 13).

It happened at around 6:40pm last night, as a blue or purple Ford Fiesta was driving along Hospital Way.

As it approached the KFC a man walking towards the restaurant was seen arguing with the driver.

The car drove off, before doing a u-turn and hitting the man as he crossed the road.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital.

DC Nathaniel Walkowiak of Cheshire Police said: “I’d urge anyone who witnessed the collision but has not yet spoken to police to contact us."

"The same goes for anyone who was driving in this area at around 6.40pm and has captured the incident on dashcam footage.”
