Police searching Staffordshire lake in hunt for missing man

Police are becoming increasingly concerned for a 77-year-old man who we believe is missing somewhere around Rudyard Lake.

Hugh was last heard from early on Tuesday 20th August, and his movements have been tracked to the lake in the last couple of hours.

Officers are searching the area, a police drone has been deployed to scan the area and the police search boat will be launched to look for any evidence in the water.

Hugh is described as a white male with a bald head and a moustache. He usually wears fishing-type clothing like cotton trousers with a shirt and jacket.
