Staffordshire Police respond to reports of body found in Burton river

Staffordshire Police are responding to reports of a body found in a Burton river.

They were called just after 2pm yesterday (April 3rd) to a spot near the Meadowside Centre, off the High Street.

We're told officers are still at the scene and have been joined by emergency services.

Anyone with any information has been urged to get in touch.

This can be done by calling 101 or making an online report, quoting incident number 363 3 April.
