Police appeal as woman threatened at knifepoint in Newcastle

Staffordshire Police are appealing for information after a woman was threatened at knifepoint in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Officers were called to Audley Road, Chesterton, at 9.50pm on Tuesday (28 March).

A woman, who was walking her dog, was approached by two teenage boys between 9pm and 9.10pm.

The woman described being threatened at knifepoint by both boys and sustained minor stomach and leg injuries.

She was taken to hospital and was discharged later.

The dog was not injured.

Following the incident, both offenders were seen heading in the direction of Watermills Road on foot

Both boys were described as white, of slim builds, and seen wearing dark-coloured hoodies and tracksuit bottoms as well as black gloves.
