Police appeal after man stabbed in Stoke-on-Trent

It happened at a house on Wellfield Road on Friday

Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed inside a house in Stoke-on-Trent.

Officers were called at 9.40pm on Friday (28 March) to an address on Wellfield Road, Bentilee, following a report that a man had been stabbed in the arm.

The man’s injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Detectives want to speak to two men seen on CCTV leaving the scene of a motorbike.

One was wearing a motorbike helmet, a blue puffer jacket and black trousers.

The other man had a thin black coat on.

Anyone with relevant CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage, is asked to get in touch with Staffordshire Police.
