Police are appealing for information after a man in his 90s sadly died in hospital following a collision in Endon.

Emergency services were called to the A53 Leek Road at around 12.30pm on Thursday, 10 April, after reports of a collision involving a black Renault Traffic van and a pedestrian.

The man was taken to hospital by ambulance, but despite the efforts of medical staff, he later passed away. His next of kin are being supported by specially trained officers.

The driver of the van was uninjured and remained at the scene, where they are assisting officers with ongoing inquiries.

Police are urging anyone with dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell footage from the area at the time of the incident to come forward to help with the investigation.
