Mourners across Staffordshire experience Queen's funeral together
Various locations across the county screened the service.
People across Staffordshire came out to watch the funeral of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II together, at screenings in locations across the county.
Some 2,000 people attended Monday's service at Westminster Abbey, with world leaders, UK prime ministers past and present and key figures from public life joining members of the royal family.
But many decided to mark the occasion closer to home. In Newcastle-under-Lyme the local cinema's screening of the state funeral was at capacity.
Across the road Mark Booth had decided to watch it in his local pub - Hogarth's Bar. He said he "wanted to raise a glass around friends" in his home town.
At Staffordshire University students watched on a screen set up for the event.
The region has also taken part in the national 2 minutes silence, including emergency services as well as those at public screenings.
Dozens of other towns and cities across the country have also been displaying the Queen's state funeral on big screens and, in central London where the funeral is taking place, thousands of people gathered in nearby Hyde Park.
