Man taken to hospital after A500 crash
The collision involved a bin lorry and two cars
A man has been taken to hospital after a crash involving a bin lorry and two cars on the A500.
Just before midday on Thursday, emergency services were called to the northbound carriageway between Etruria and Porthill.
A man was treated at the scene before being transferred to the Royal Stoke.
His injuries are not thought to be serious.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of an RTC and sent one ambulance to the scene.
"On arrival we discovered two cars and a bin lorry that had been in collision. We assessed one patient, a man, who was treated for injuries not believed to be serious before being taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital."
