Man seriously injured following crash in Talke

Any witnesses are being asked to come forward

Staffordshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Talke this morning.

Police were called at 8.25am today (Tuesday 22 June) to reports of a collision involving a red Vauxhall Corsa and a red Honda VFR motorbike on Coppice Road at the junction of Swann Bank.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital with serious leg injuries.

The driver of the Corsa, a woman in her 30s, and her two passengers, were uninjured but were checked over by West Midlands Ambulance Service.

Witnesses who may have seen the vehicles before the collision or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to message Staffordshire Police on Facebook or Twitter quoting incident number 134 of 22 June or call 101.
