Man jailed for rape in Hanley
He attacked the victim after walking around for several hours

A man has been jailed for the rape of a woman in Stoke-on-Trent.
Elek Horvath, 23, of Hanley, was sentenced to eight years imprisonment at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Friday 26 August after he was found guilty at the same court on Thursday 25 August.
Police were called to Hope Street, Hanley, following the rape which occurred at 6.30am on Sunday 16 January.
Horvath was arrested a few hours after the incident.
Detective Sergeant Dawn Moody, of the force’s Rape and Serious Sexual Offences team, said: “Horvath demonstrated premeditated, predatory behaviour that morning. He targeted the victim after spending several hours walking around Hanley.
“The victim has had to relive her trauma in court and the courage it takes to do this cannot be understated. I hope that she can find some closure and make a fresh start now that proceedings have concluded.
“I would like to thank the officer who located and arrested Horvath within a few hours of the incident.”
