Man jailed after being found with zombie knife and drugs in Stoke-On-Trent
He was stopped and searched in Waterloo Road.
A man has been jailed after police found a zombie knife, crack cocaine and heroin during a search in Stoke-on-Trent.
Myka Warren, aged 20, of Ferncliffe Road, Birmingham, was sentenced to three years and five months behind bars after admitting possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, heroin and possessing a knife/sharp pointed article in a public place.
The court heard how officers saw Warren talking to a group of men on Waterloo Road on 17 August this year.
He gave one of them a plastic bag containing drugs and walked to a bus stop nearby.
Officers followed and searched him, and found a zombie knife stored in a sheath in his trousers, a phone used to sell drugs in the area and £190 in cash.
He also tried to hide a bag of crack cocaine and heroin in his boxers, but officers later found them following a second search in custody.
Warren was charged and later admitted the offences at an earlier court hearing.
PC Isabelle Pole, who dealt with the case, said: “Warren had been circulating these harmful drugs to vulnerable members of our community.
“I’m happy that he’s been punished for his actions and proactive officers have been able to remove drugs and a potentially lethal weapon from our streets.”
