Man hospitalised after suspected shooting in Great Wyrley
A man in his 20s is being treated for non life-threatening injuries

A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital after a suspected shooting in Great Wyrley.
Officers were called to Field Lane at around 8:25pm last night (August 5) after locals heard what they thought to be a gunshot.
A man was found with back injuries at the scene. He is now in hospital but is said to be in a non life-threatening condition.
Detectives think four suspects were involved, leaving the area in a black car after the shooting.
Patrols in the area have been stepped up, but police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with CCTV to come forward.
