Man dies after collision in East Staffordshire

A man has died following a collision between a moped and a car in East Staffordshire.
The incident happened yesterday.
Police, fire and ambulance services were called at around 11am on Burton Road, Tutbury.
The rider of the bike, a man in his 80s, was taken to hospital, where he sadly later died as a result of his injuries.
Specially-trained officers are continuing to support his family at this distressing time.
The driver of the car, stayed at the scene and has been helping enquiries.
Police are asking for anyone who witnessed the collision or those with CCTV from the area to get in touch with us.
