Man continues to be questioned over Hanley house fire
A woman was left with serious injuries in the incident
A man is being questioned this morning over a house fire in Hanley, which left a woman injured.
Emergency services were called to the property on Eagle Street just before midday on Saturday.
A woman had to be rescued by firefighters and was rushed to the local hospital. Staffordshire Police say she suffered serious burns, and they believe the fire was started deliberately.
A 47-year-old man from Stoke-on-Trent has been arrested on suspicion of arson.
He remains in custody for questioning.
