Man charged with drink driving after Stone car crash

The 29-year-old will appear before magistrates later this month.

A man has been charged with drink driving after a car crashed into railings in Stone.

A vehicle was stopped on Whitemill Lane after it happened on High Street on Monday.

29-year-old Liam Brookes has been bailed and will appear at Cannock Magistrates later this month.

A statement from Staffordshire Police says: "A 29-year-old man has been charged with drink driving after a crash in #Stone.

"Liam Brookes, of Fieldsway, was stopped on Whitemill Ln following a collision with High St railings on 12 April.

"He has been bailed and is due to appear at Cannock Magistrates on 28 April."
