A man has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was assaulted in Stoke-on-Trent.
Police were called to a home in Smallthorne on Thursday morning (6 July) after a woman was assaulted by a man.
Jack Robert Walters, 30, from Smallthorne, was arrested and has since been charged with attempted murder and threats to kill.
He is due to appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre.
