Man charged with sexual offences in Stoke

It comes as part of an investigation into a report of sexual communication with a child

A man has been charged with a number of sexual offences in Stoke-on-Trent.

Staffordshire Police have confirmed Dylan Jepson has been charged as part of an investigation into a report of sexual communication with a child at 7.45pm on Thursday (28 August).

The 21-year-old has since been charged with two counts of engaging in sexual communication with a child, two counts of causing or inciting a girl to engage in sexual activity, two counts of attempting to cause or incite a girl to engage in sexual activity and one count of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child.

Jepson appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on 30 August and has been remanded in custody.

His next appearance at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court is due to be on 29 September.
