Man charged after fatal crash in Cheshire

A man has been charged following a fatal collision in Cheshire which left a passenger dead at the scene.

45-year-old Liam Foster from Crewe was arrested on Monday 11 October in connection with the incident that happened on Warmingham Lane near Middlewich.

He was charged with causing death by dangerous driving, causing death whilst disqualified from driving, causing death whilst uninsured and for failing to stop after the collision.

A passenger from the vehicle, a 57-year-old woman from Crewe, died during the one vehicle collision involving a red Ford Focus.

Foster remains in custody and is set to appear before Chester Magistrates' Court on Wednesday 13 October.

Relatives of the woman who died have been contacted and are being supported by specialist officers.
