Man arrested in Newcastle-under-Lyme stabbing

A man has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent following a stabbing in Newcastle-under-Lyme on Friday night (April 28)

Staffordshire Police were called to Kidsgrove at just after 21:30, where another man in his 30s was taken to hospital but not with serious injuries.

Yesterday (30 April), Staffordshire Police arrested a 23-year-old man from Newcastle-under-Lyme on suspicion of wounding with intent.

He has since been released on conditional police bail while inquiries continue.
