Man arrested after sexual assaults in Stoke-on Trent
The attacks happened in Shelton, Etruria and Hartshill.
Police investigating a number of sexual assaults in Stoke-on-Trent have arrested a man.
The sexual assaults were reported to have happened in the Shelton, Etruria and Hartshill areas yesterday morning (17 May).
A 25-year-old man is being held on suspicion of attempted rape, attempted kidnap and sexual assault.
Staffordshire Police said the victims are being supported by specialist officers.
In a statement, the force said: "We would like to reassure the public that these events are extremely rare and we have uniformed officers in the local area to provide reassurance to our communities."
Officers are appealing for any CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage, including of a black Vauxhall Astra, that could help with the investigation.
