Investigation launched after large cannabis farm found in Talke

An investigation has been launched after a large cannabis farm was found inside a property in Talke, North Staffordshire.

Police were called to an address on High Street at around 10:30am yesterday following reports of a suspected cannabis cultivation.

Upon arrival, police discovered a large scale grow inside.

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: "Anyone with any information should message Staffordshire Police on Facebook or Twitter, quoting incident number 202 of 11 November, or call 101. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

"If you know of any suspected cannabis cultivation or notice any suspicious incidents, please contact police via 101."
