Investigation launched after blaze at derelict factory in Stoke-on-Trent

Staffordshire police are appealing for information following a fire at a derelict factory in Stoke-on-Trent.

Emergency services were called to the Old Town Road, Hanley, just before 7.30pm yesterday (Tuesday 20 February) following reports of a fire.

Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service put it out it just after 7.45pm.

Thankfully, no one was injured.

Fire investigators later deemed it was started deliberately.

Police are urging anyone who has information to get in touch.
