Teenager stabbed at Stoke-on-Trent's main shopping centre
It happened during the busy Boxing Day shopping
A teenage boy is in hospital after being stabbed on Boxing Day at the Potteries Centre in Hanley.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said:
We were called to reports of a teenage boy being stabbed at the Potteries Shopping Centre at around 3.00pm on Boxing Day. An ambulance, two paramedic officers were sent to the scene. They were assisted by an off-duty doctor. The teenager was assessed and treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.
We are awaiting more information from Staffordshire Police.
