Firefighters tackle bakery blaze
Staff were evacuated as crews were called
Firefighters have been tackling a fire in a commercial bakery in Northwich.
Officers from nearby stations attended this morning (Monday 5 June) and residents were advised to keep doors and windows shut as a precaution. Staff were evacuated safely with no casualties reported.
Teams with twelve fire engines treated the incident which affected a roof space at the site, and spread to a production area.
Aerial ladder platforms and main water jets have been used to fight the fire, and crews currently remain at the scene.
