Police appeal for doorbell footage after Fiat 500s damaged in Newcastle
Three vehicles had their wing mirrors damaged on Wednesday
Police are appealing for information following reports of vehicle crime in the Newcastle-under-Lyme area on Wednesday (26 January) involving Fiat 500 cars.
Officers were called to an address off Watlands View, Newcastle-under-Lyme.
It is reported the wing mirrors of a Fiat 500 were damaged at around 4.45pm on Wednesday (26 January). The car was parked at the side of a property.
Around five to fifteen minutes later, it is believed the driver’s side wing mirror of a pink Fiat 500 was damaged. The pink Fiat was parked outside a property off Watlands View, Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Just over an hour later, it is believed the wing mirrors of a blue Fiat 500 were damaged. It is reported the blue Fiat 500 was parked outside a property near Wolseley Road, Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Chief Inspector Phil Duffy of Staffordshire Police, said: “We are working to establish further details in relation to these incidents and we are keen to appeal to the public for any information they may have.
“If you have any CCTV or smart doorbell footage that could help our enquiries, please get in touch.
“We would like to assure the local community we’re increasing patrols in the area to target this issue.”
