Family issue tribute after fatal crash in the Staffordshire Moorlands

The family of a 35-year-old man who died following a collision in Kingsley Moor have paid tribute to their ‘cherished son, brother, brother-in-law and doting uncle’.

Daniel Fallows was travelling in a Land Rover on Leek Road 12.45pm on Sunday 19 September when there was a single-vehicle collision.

Despite the best efforts of paramedics, Daniel, from Kingsley, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Daniel’s family have released a statement:

“Our Daniel. Cherished son, brother, brother-in-law and doting uncle to three. At his happiest in a tractor, being filthy dirty with a smoke on and grafting his big gentle heart out.

“If you wanted anything doing ask Dan, he’d help out anyone. Innocent and harmless.

“That big, soft smile Dan. Oh, how we’ll miss it.

“Stolen from us far too young, this wasn’t your time Dan. Shine bright now, you’re with dad.”

Witnesses who may have seen the vehicles before the collision or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to message Staffordshire Police on Facebook or Twitter quoting incident number 41 of 19 September or call 101.
