Elderly pedestrian killed in collision in Kings Bromley
The woman in her 80s died in the incident at the junction of the A515 and Church Lane
A woman in her 80s has died after being involved in a collision with a white van in Kings Bromley.
She was a pedestrian on the A515 when the incident reportedly occurred at the junction with Church Lane between 7:30pm and 7:40pm on Thursday.
She was pronounced dead by paramedics - and her family are now being supported by specially trained officers.
Staffordshire Police say their investigations suggest the van involved was a Vauxhall Movano, Renault Master or Nissan MV400, registered between 2010 and 2019.
The mirror housing of the van - which fell off during the collision - matches those three vehicles.
They added they believe the van turned left towards Alrewas on the A513.
Staffordshire Police are urging anyone with information, including CCTV, dashcam and doorbell footage of the white van, to come forward.
They're asking people to contact them online, or by calling 101 quoting incident number 606 of 19 October.
