Two charged after £400,000 worth of Class-A drugs found in Tamworth

They have both been charged with drug supply offences

Two people have been charged with drug supply offences after Staffordshire Police found an estimated £400,000 worth of drugs in Tamworth.

Police searched a house in Bolehall and found four kilogrammes of cocaine.

They also found a large amount of other suspected drugs that are being examined and a small amount of cannabis.

Georgina Warren, 34, of Bolehall, Tamworth, has been charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine and being concerned in the supply of cocaine.

Shane Shorthouse, 29, of Stonydelph, Tamworth, has been charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine, being concerned in the supply of cocaine and possessing a controlled class B drug (cannabis).

Both are due in North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Thursday (19th Dec).
