Cyclist left with serious injuries after being hit by lorry in Crewe
Police say they're now investigating how it happened
A man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries, after he was knocked off his bike by a lorry in Crewe.
It happened on Wistaston Road just after 1:30pm on Wednesday 9th June - he was taken to the Royal Stoke Hospital for treatment.
Police say they're now investigating how it happened.
Statement from Cheshire Police:
"At 1.34pm today (Wednesday 9 June) police were called to a collision on Wistaston Road, Crewe involving a cyclist and a lorry.
"The male cyclist is believed to have suffered serious injuries and has been taken to Royal Stoke Hospital.
"Officers remain at the scene to establish the circumstances of the collision and the road remains cordoned off.
"Anyone with information can contact Cheshire Police on 101 or via the website quoting IML 1008722."
