Police investigation after car set alight in Stoke-on-Trent

Staffordshire Police officers believe the fire was started deliberately

Staffordshire Police is investigating, after a car was set alight in Stoke-on-Trent last night (1st December).

Officers were called around 9.55pm, to Arbourfield Drive, Berry Hill.

They believe the fire was started deliberately, and are asking anyone with information to get in touch.

The grey Peugeot 307 has now been secured at the scene.

In a statement, Staffordshire Police added: 'Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service also attended the incident.

'Anyone with any information should message Staffordshire Police on Facebook or Twitter quoting incident number 741 of December 1, call 101 or alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.'
