Cannock man pleads guilty to manslaughter of Craig Robins
The disabled man died 13 years after being attacked in Hednesford in 2006
A man has pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of Craig Robins, who died after being assaulted in Hednesford in 2006.
James Ainsley Milligan, 42, of Canford Place, Hednesford Road, Cannock, admitted causing the death of Craig, who died in 2019, on 7 September at Stafford Crown Court.
Craig Robins, aged 27, was stabbed and assaulted in his car on Lomax Road on 30 October 2006. He sadly died in 2019.
He will be sentenced alongside Gavin Brown, 36, of HMP Lancaster Farm, who pleaded guilty to murder in June, at a date to be set.
Bernie Peter Smith, 30, of Rowley Close, Hednesford, and Kyle Neil Smith, 33, of Pebble Mill Drive, Cannock, who were charged with manslaughter, are standing trial at Stafford Crown Court. The trial started yesterday (Wednesday 15 September).
