Boy charged after drugs and cash found in East Staffordshire

Police have arrested and charged a boy after they found class A drugs and more than £2,000 in Burton-on-Trent.

A 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin.

He is due to appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre later today

It comes after Staffordshire Police stopped a boy on Shobnall Road, at 4pm on Wednesday and seized a mobile phone and cash.

Shortly after, we searched a property in Burton-on-Trent and seized crack cocaine and heroin, scales and more than £2,000 in cash.
