Body found in search for missing woman in Rugeley
Theresa Steele was last seen in the town on Monday
Detectives searching for a woman who went missing from Rugeley have found her body.
30-year-old Theresa Steele was last seen on Monday.
The body was found on open land near Wolseley Bridge yesterday afternoon.
Theresa's family have been informed, and they're now being supported by specialist officers.
Detective Constable Jason Hughes, of CID South, said: “Theresa’s family have been informed and our thoughts and condolences are with them at this very difficult time. They are being supported by police officers.”
A report will be prepared for HM Coroner.
