Staffordshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a crash in Rugeley, where a man was allegedly verbally abused by another man.

The force says the victim was involved in a collision along Wheelhouse Road at about 6pm on Wednesday 19 February.

The suspect was driving a silver Vauxhall Insignia.

No one was reported hurt in the collision.

On Monday 3 March, the victim was out shopping with family on Power Station Road in Rugeley at around 4.30pm, when he recognised the suspect.

The suspect then reportedly racially abused the victim before driving off in the Insignia at speed.

Officers began an investigation and are issuing an appeal now in order to gather more evidence.
