Appeal after tools and motorcross bike stolen in the Moorlands

Police are appealing for information after a motorcross bike and a number of power tools were stolen from a business in the Staffordshire Moorlands.

Officers were called to a premises on the B5053 in Ipstones, at 11.40am on Thursday (2 March) following reports of a burglary.

A black and yellow motorcross bike, worth around £1,200, two chainsaws, worth a total of £1,000 and a number of drills were reported stolen.

It is believed the theft took place sometime between 1am and 7.30am on Thursday 2 March.

A total of four male offenders, wearing dark clothing and masks, are believed to be involved in the burglary and were seen on the B5053 at around 1am.

A Ford van was spotted in the area, heading in the direction of Froghall, following the theft.

No one was reported injured.

Police say they're currently reviewing CCTV of the area at the time of the burglary.
