Officers are appealing for information after a puppy was stolen from an address in Burslem.

Staffordshire Police were called to a property on North Road at around 7.50am yesterday morning (17 January) following reports of a burglary.

A window had been smashed and damage had also been caused to the front door, before a five-month-old puppy was stolen from inside.

The puppy is described as a mixed breed, a cross between a Husky and a German Shepherd. He is mostly black in colour with brown patches on his legs and face.
