16 year old boy arrested after Tamworth disorder
The teenager is being questioned on suspicion of violent disorder
A 16 year old boy has been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder, after rioting in Tamworth over the weekend.
Gangs of rioters attacked a hotel in the town, smashing windows and setting fires on Sunday (August 4).
The teenager remains in custody.
Staffordshire Police say a dedicated team of officers is reviewing footage from the scene, in an attempt to track those involved.
A statement from the force promises "more people will be arrested in Staffordshire in the coming days."
