A 21-year-old man who suffered life-threatening injuries following a collision in Barnsley last month has died in hospital.
A 21-year-old man who suffered life-threatening injuries following a collision in Barnsley last month has died in hospital.
It happened just after 10pm on Monday 11 April when a Renault Clio was traveling along Westway from the Alhambra roundabout towards Townend roundabout.
The Clio repotedly hit the pedestrian near the junction with Wellington Street.
The man was taken to hospital where he remained in a critical condition until he died on 4 May.
His family is receiving support from specially trained officers.
Police are appealing for anybody who saw what happened to come forward.
