Woman and dog hurt in Rotherham dog attack

A woman aged 85 and her elderly Labrador are recovering after an attack by two other dogs at Rawmarsh in Rotherham.

It happened on Wednesday (25th October) at 11.30am on Hague Avenue.

The woman was knocked-over during the incident causing a head injury, whilst her dog had to have veterinary assistance.

South Yorkshire Police are looking for a woman who was walking two dogs in the area at the time but left the scene, the animals are believed to be of the Cane Corso breed.
