Despite winning the US Masters without his wife being there Sheffield golfer Danny Willett isn't considering banning his wife from any future golf tournaments he's involved in.

Nicole recently given birth to their first child, Zachariah, so she missed the weekend tournament in the American city of Augusta.

Danny said:

"I've had quite a good run since Nic's been at home! Hopefully the first tournament that Nic comes to I can hopefully compete somewhat and not miss the cut!

"The green jacket feels pretty good. It's been a crazy two weeks and I'm just looking forward now getting back to normal life.

"There's nothing that can buy the feeling of being in contention in golf tournaments. The adrenaline, the buzz that's going around and people cheering - you can't buy that feeling it's something you have to earn through playing good golf."

And his wife Nicole is happy with his latest achievement saying she thinks he looks "hot" in green!

She said having had their son it put Danny's mind at ease:

"I think that obviously knowing that I was alright and Zach was alright at home he could get on with his job then. He was over the moon at being a father and it settled his mind. He didn't just focus on the golf, he focussed on us too."

When asked how their lives might change now, Nicole added "I think he'll be more recognised in public".
