One of South Yorkshire's biggest healthcare companies is backing our calls to get mental health support in every workplace.

Our campaign's calling for it to be compulsory to have a mental health first aider in every workplace in the UK, so those struggling have somewhere to turn.

Westfield Health - who provide the training for many companies in Sheffield - are now backing Where's Your Head At.

Head of HR and Employee Wellbeing Donna Griffiths said that even though they provide help internally to staff, “a lot of the time the staff don’t want to ask for that help and what this course does is take some of that stigma away.”

Almost 200,000 people have now signed our petition to change the law and bring in mental health support to every single workplace.

Donna adds; “Our staff are more empowered to go and ask a work colleague for a bit of help, a bit of support than they are to go to speak to a manger.”

Claire O'Toole's is a Marketing Executive in Sheffield and has undergone the training to provide mental health first aid:

“It helps to build confidence, so you are not afraid to go up to somebody and ask if you are ok? Sometimes that’s all it takes to start a conversation.”
