The 26 year old has made 76 appearances for Blades across two seasons since joining in August 2023.
The fan favourite found the net just once for the S2 club, scoring against Luton Town in the Premier League in February 2024.
His last appearance in Blades colours was during the play-off final against Sunderland earlier this year.
