Update on incident at Sheffield Biomass plant
South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue have issued a statement
Emergency services say they were called last night to reports of a fire at Blackburn Meadows renewable energy plant, which is on Alsing Road.
They say that they were called to reports of a fire involving wood chipping.
Four fire engines are there at the moment, the incident is under control though.
Emergency services say they will be there to assist E.ON.
