Two seriously injured after motorbike crash in Doncaster

A bike was involved in a collision with an elderly pedestrian on Monday

A motorcyclist and an elderly pedestrian have been seriously injured in a crash in Doncaster.

Police were called to Leger Way, near to the junction with School Lane, at around 4:30pm on Monday (November 25).

An orange KTM 125 Duke 12 motorcycle, which was in convoy with another bike, hit an 80 year old man as he crossed the street.

The pedestrian is now in hospital in a life threatening condition.

The rider of the bike is also seriously injured in hospital, though his condition is not thought to be life threatening.

South Yorkshire Police is urging witnesses, or anyone with dashcam footage of the incident, to get get in touch.
