Two dead after car crashes into River Don
Police were called to Meadowhall Way on Saturday night.
Two people have died after a car crashed into the River Don near Meadowhall.
Police got reports at 7:10pm on Saturday (30th January) that a vehicle had entered the river off Meadowhall Way in Sheffield.
Two men aged 20 and 24 were taken to the Northern General where they were pronounced dead. Family members have been informed and are being supported by specially trained police officers.
Meadowhall Way was closed and remains closed today while enquiries continue.
