A Sheffield woman was one of the 22 people killed in Monday night's terror attack at Manchester Arena, her family and friends have confirmed.
There was an appeal on social media to find 32-year-old Kelly Brewster, who was last heard from at 10.30pm on Monday, after going to the Ariana Grande concert with her niece and sister.
It's been reported she tried to shield her niece when the explosion happened but last night her partner Ian Whislow posted on Facebook:
"Not sure how this works but it isn't good news. Kelly Brewster wasn't one of the unidentified hospital patients. She has sadly passed away in the terror attack yesterday.
"Kelly really was the happiest she has ever been and we had so many things planned together. My daughter Phoebe will be absolutely devastated like we all are.
Love you loads X😚❤💕💏"
It's thought Kelly was knocked unconcious in the foyer where the bomb went off. She became separated from her sister and her niece - who needed surgery for a jaw and leg injury.
Since the announcement, tributes have been pouring in online - her best friend Chantelle Garrity posted:
"R.I.P my dear friend Kelly! I love you more than words can describe. I won't be the same person without you!"
Becky Wilkinson told Hallam: "I am devastated. Our lives just wont be the same without her. She was such a happy and gentle soul we have cried together and laughed together, sang, danced, drank far too much wine and I am going to miss her so very much.
"She pulled me out of bad patches and helped me battle on after my mum's death. She did lots in her short life and found so much happiness with Ian.
"But there was still so much left for her to do. She would have made a fantastic mother some day, my children adored her. Truly such a waste of a young life, I am just heartbroken and this is just so unfair."
Another friend, Payton Williams, said:
"Heaven has gained another angel Kelly you were a hero right down to your last moments...We never did manage a night out on the town together but one day we will meet again and you'll have many a story to tell me over a few drinks. For now sleep tight beautiful princess you'll always be a hero"
