Snow is starting to cause a few problems on roads across South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire.

Manchester Road heading out of Sheffield is blocked near to Tapton Hall.

Similar problems on Woodhead Road and Chesterfield Road, they are also both closed due to snow.

There's also some cancelled Supertram services in Sheffield, because of an abandoned car blocking tramlines.

Operator Stagecoach says there's no trams running on the Purple route, while they're only able to run a partial Blue route service.

Around 35 schools have closed for the afternoon in South Yorkshire, mostly in Sheffield and Barnsley.

Gritting teams are out in Sheffield to try to prevent the snow sticking.

Bin collections have also been suspended in Sheffield, with operator Veolia telling people to "leave their bins out until they are emptied."
