There's been some movement in and out of South Yorkshire's football clubs

Barnsley FC have signed Gloucester City striker Harry White on a two year deal for an undisclosed fee.

Reds Head Coach Lee Johnson said:

"We are pleased to welcome Harry on board. He is a player with good potential and I'm looking forward to keeping an eye on his progress under Paul Heckingbottom within our development squad.

"This is a fantastic place for young players like Harry as there is a genuine pathway into the first team."

On-loan goalie Nick Townsend's completed a permanent move to Oakwell.

Michael Smith's joined the reds until January.

Meanwhile, Stevie May has left Sheffield Wednesday to go to Championship rivals Preston North End.

Announcing the move online the club said:

"Sheffield Wednesday would like to thank Stevie for his services and wish him well for the future."

Rotherham United have signed goalkeeper Lee Camp from Premier League AFC Bournemouth, subject to Football League ratification.

Millers boss Stve Evans said:

"I am delighted that we have been able to secure the services of such an experienced Championship goalkeeper.

"The lad played against the Millers on three occasions last season and our supporters will have seen it first hand the qualities he possesses. Lee had a number of options presented to him from other Championship clubs, but after much consideration he has decided that his future lies at the AESSEAL New York Stadium.

"I will add nothing else other than to say he now competes with Adam Collin to start in goal for Rotherham United. It goes without saying we all wish the lad every success."

Rotherham United have also completed the double signing of Tony Andreu and Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe on loan.

Kelle Roos, who was on loan at Rotherham, has returned to parent club Derby.
